| i feel that the mariahs challenge has affected not only the deeply rooted city of Butte, but has reached out to people all over the state. we are sending a message to teens all over, telling them to not drink until you are of age. it shows what Butte really is about and how we stand by one of out one when they need us. no matter who you are, you can see that there is a definate positive outcome that has come out of this tragic event. in high school, i have seen that it no longer matters whether you "bleed maroon" or "bleed purple", we have all joined together to change our society and how we view under aged drinking. this truly is Butte tough. |
